Please read this carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our systems, as well as the terms that you should abide by when using our systems.

When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address or other details to help you with your experience. We collect this information when you register on our systems, and may use this information when you use certain other systems features to personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested. We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. It's also important to note that we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.
I-Stem follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. I-Stem does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
With people with disabilities as our primary users, we may collect disability information from time to time (including documentation in some cases) to determine program/service eligibility, provide personalized support, recommend services and opportunities etc. Note that this information is not captured for basic services on our systems, and is only required when the program/service or a partner administering a program/service must require this information to operate it. In all such instances, these details are only accessible to select number of individuals who are required to keep this information strictly confidential and is securely stored on our servers. You will need to upload documents/audio/video on the platform for accessibility conversion, and you may also need to upload supporting documents (such as resumes, cover letters etc.) for certain programs. For accessibility conversion, we reserve the right to use these documents and their conversions for improving our algorithm and models by default. In case you would like us to not do so and discard your document/audio/video immediately after processing, you can conact us at info@inclusivestem.org, and we will comply. You may also ask us to not store any of your documents/audio/video in the future. Further, an institute/business/tenant administrator may also request deletion of content after processing for their entire tenant. In the case that content needs to be deleted after processing, escalation services cannot be provided. For non-accessibility-conversion jobs, any content uploaded by you will be securely stored on our servers and will be processed in accordance with guidelines explicitly defined for the particular program/service.
Many of our programs/services may involve collaboration with other partners, and may require us to share your data with these partners. In all such instances, these partners are required to uphold strong confidentiality guarantees similar to those defined in this document. Further, each partner will only receive your data on a need-to-know basis, and is required to use the data strictly for the purposes of the specific program/service. You will also be explicitly informed if specific data will be shared with a partner and how that data will be processed and used. Further, we may also be required to share data in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena, a law enforcement or government agency's request or similar request. Finally, we reserve the right to disclose and transfer the User Information and any uploaded content outside your country unless we have officially committed otherwise to you or your organization. We will comply with all relevant Data Protection legislation in relation to the period for which We retain any User Information.
Our Website may contain links to or integrations with other services such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media services and platforms whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult these other services' privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices, we will notify you via email within 7 business days should a data breach occur. The I-Stem services are provided on a purely "as is" basis. I-Stem will not assume any responsibility for direct and/or indirect losses related to the use of any of our services including our community services. In particular, we strongly recommend members of the community to do their own research and/or due diligence when receiving any advice from our community. Further, we assume that users have adequate rights to any document/audio/video submitted to the service. We further assume that users use the service in accordance with the terms set out here.
A subset of I-Stem services are available free of charge to individual users for strictly personal, non-commercial use. Institutional use of the service requires a service agreement with I-Stem unless explicitly confirmed otherwise by an I-Stem officer in writing. Users affiliated with an institutional setting (academic institution, organization, association or similar) obligated to provide support constitute institutional rather than individual users. Furthermore, organized instruction of students, clients, employees, members, alumni and others on how to use the service constitutes institutional use. Institutional users such as academic institutions, organizations, associations and similar who wish to make the service freely available as an accommodation and/or through customized interfaces to its students, clients, employees, members, alumni and others, should contact I-Stem at info@inclusivestem.org for a service agreement.
We commit to be completely transparent in our pricing. All ofour of our automated services will always have pricing well-defined and on our website. For manual services involving remediation and/or manual testing, a quotation will be shared with an I-Stem representative and the work will only commence after signing of an agreement amongst both the parties.
Due to the nature of the digital services, we are unable to process refunds if the user has commenced use of our service. if the user hasn't started the use of our services, then we will be happy to provide a complete refund.
